Seabank Hotel Porthcawl

The weather has been great of late, so not much time has been spent, indoors painting!

Its not often we get good weather in the the UK so we need to make the most of it.

Last night (17/07/2017) I had the urge to start a new painting. 

It had to be something small and quick.

Could I get an oil painting complete in the couple of hours I had available?

Well I chose to paint the view from just outside my apartment looking along the sea front to the Seabank hotel Porthcawl and as a quick test out finished within the evening!.

Had a little play with some acrylic paint, 3D Fabric paint and some fabric leaves. Nice autumnal effect

Whilst I am working on the "Sun Through Birch Grove" there are sections which need to dry, so I have started a couple of smaller A4 size works to keep me going
